This is taken from the grass field (which preceded the redgra) and shows the 1952 block in the distance with the single-storey science block under construction. Much tennis-ball football is clearly in progress. The two teachers are Paddy Hartin (left) and (I think) Fr Victor Arthur SDS (right). At the time, Fr Victor ran the parish choir (and was a brilliant musician and organist); he taught geography, etc. (Peter K Grannell 55-66) |
